Select the helicopter in the TerraScan menu and open the desired *.las file for viewing.

Select Add and then Done

Display Mode
Display mode has a lot of options.
The main ones used were color by, speed and the list of what to show.
Color by options class, elevation, point color, and shading were the most useful.
Speed – Normal or fast, Fast removes points and loads everything faster
List – select just ground it shows the point cloud for just the ground.


View Tool
Change view is highlighted. To change the view you must select the view you want and then click in the viewer whose view you would like to be changed
To fit the view to points open view fit view, which opens up a tool bar that you can use. Select the desired options and click the viewer you want
You can also do this by hitting the fit button in the color display menu
Open a New View
Open up the toolbar to flip between views
using the dialog option (selecting it opens a straight forward toolbar. Create a new view by clicking a number with no checkmark. Checkmark means that the view already exists.

Make a Profile View
Select A-A in the View Laser Menu
Click in the top down viewer (click 1 start of line, click 2 end of line, click 3 width of line, click 4 general click in whichever viewer you would like the profile to appear in.
To move the section select the highlighted option in the View Laser bar (3rd from left) and just right and left click. This will move it left or right.
